Surrounded by water, this internationally known beach is the most popular beach along the east coast in the district of Kota Tinggi which has a stretch of about 26km of pristine, sandy beach and fringed with rhu and palm trees. Lotus Desaru invites guests to design the vacation of their choice in a tropical seaside setting – be it an activity-filled holiday, a relaxing retreat, or even a blend of both business and pleasure recreation. “Desaru” means village of casuarinas or palms. Directly translated from the Malay Language, “Desa” means village, while “Ru” is the local name given for casuarinas.
