Lotus Desaru Beach Resort is located along the eastern coastline of Johor. It is about 75 minutes from Johor Bahru by car and about 90 minutes from Senai Airport. If you are driving from the causeway, follow the signs to Koto Tinggi and Desaru. Motorist can use the newly-completed Senai-Desaru Expressway which links the towns of Senai, Ulu Tiram, Cahaya Baru, Pasir Gudang and Penawar for a quicker alternative.

From Kuala Lumpur, it is about 4 hours via the North-South Highway. From the Kulai exit, drive to Kota Tinggi and head towards Desaru.

A 30 minutes ferry service from Tanjung Belungkor to Changi, Singapore provides visitors a convenient alternative to driving. The resort provides a shuttle from the jetty at Tanjung Belungkor to the resort which takes approximately 20 minutes.

Currently, only parts of the Senai-Desaru Expressway have been completed. Full completion is expected by June 2011.
